PTO contributions support school safety, fine arts, enrichment, reading initiatives, and other activities, which impact student learning at SSE. Community businesses support academic and character education programs. Junior Lifeguard Program teaches fifth graders life-saving skills. School Wide Recognitions Family Fun Run—Greatest Number of Participants Award (over 700) This is the fourth year in a row that Seaside Elementary’s Families have supported the Leukemia Society and the Myrtle Beach Family Fun Run with the greatest number of participants. . The Junior Lifeguard Program was recognized as a model program worldwide. Recognized by the Education Oversite Committee for "Closing the Gap" between our poverty/nonpoverty students. Received the Superintendent Service Learning Award.
