We would like to welcome Mrs. Samantha Woods to our Seaside family.
Mrs. Woods will join our staff on July 1, 2012 as Assistant Principal.
Mrs. Woods will be replacing Mrs. Brooks, who will be retiring on June
30. Mrs. Woods began teaching
at Pee Dee Elementary in 2001. Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Woods
to Seaside Elementary.
Thank you to the parents and community for helping us keep our children safe. Our children were dismissed 30 minutes late due to the weather. As always, our first priority is for the safety of our children and staff. We appreicate your understanding during this and future emergencies.

Attendance Information:
If your child is out of school for any reason, please make sure that you send in an excuse for the absence on the day that your child returns to school. If your child misses 3 consecutive days or a total of 5 days, the parent/guardian is required to attend an Attendance Intervention Conference with an administrator. Please remember that days missed for vacations are unexcused days. Please plan your trips around our school vacations. The school calendar has been posted on our website: www.sse.horrycountyschools.net. When requesting make-up work from teachers, please realize that what is done in the classroom cannot be replicated with worksheets. Teachers will need at least 24 hours notice to compile make-up work.
Parent Check-in System
In an effort to enhance safety at our school, you are required to sign-in using our computer based system, School Check-In. This program requires you to bring in a driver's license or identification and scan it every time you visit our school or pick up a child.
